Running your business

material lady - running a biz 420x280You’re a fully-fledged business owner with real live paying clients.

Oh boy have you been busy. And you’ve come so far. You’re bedding down your business plan and things are really gaining momentum. Congratulations!

I know from personal experience that that’s no mean feat.

But you don’t feel much like celebrating do you? There’s too much to do. You’ve Too. Much. On! The money is up and down. There’s a lot of hard work and a lot of learning going on for you right now. There’s networking, blogging, the mountain of paperwork, the bills to pay, the invoicing to do, not to mention actually doing your day job and delighting your clients so they spread the word.

And the cracks are beginning to show. Overwhelm is creeping in.

Goodness only knows where you put that receipt, what you could or should be claiming for, how you’ll get through your tax return with your sanity intact. Frankly, you don’t have a handle on what needs to be done accounts wise and tax wise, but you’re embarrassed to admit it and it’s just not a priority for you right now. Sound familiar?

Maybe you’re so swamped and inundated with stuff outside your comfort zone that you’ve actually considered throwing in the towel. Or perhaps you’ve already started searching for the right kind of support – on Google, from an accountant, from a friend. But you’re still no clearer about what you should and shouldn’t be claiming for in your business. You’re still no clearer about how you could be keeping more of your hard-earned money.

Thankfully there is another way.

Just imagine if someone dependable took the time to meet with you – in person – and assess how things could be simpler for you. Wouldn’t it be great if there were no such thing as a silly question? No shame in not clearly understanding your obligations or how you could be saving time and money. If someone could help you navigate the road ahead and explain what to expect – with empathy and in a jargon-free way.

Hi. I’m Karen

karen 80x90I’m passionate about helping you to spend more time doing the bits you love and find integrity-filled ways to hang onto more of your hard-earned income.

That’s why I’ve created two DIY and two outsourced packages for sole traders who can’t see the wood for the trees right now and either just want to get their small business taxes done and dusted or want to be taught ways to manage their money and accounts more proactively.

Growing your business either as a Limited company or Sole trader and needing support with bookkeeping, VAT or Xero accounting software?

Take a peep on how I can help you in Growing your business.

Next steps

You’ll notice there is no “Buy Now” button here. That’s because I won’t be right for everyone and I can only work with a limited number of 1:1 clients. So I insist on spending 30 minutes on a call before we commit.  We’ll get to ‘meet’ each other and see if we’re a good fit. We’ll look at where you are now, where you need to get to and what level of support you need.

This call is to help you get clarity and it’s totally free of charge. I won’t sell to you but I will tell you if I think I can help. And if I feel my services aren’t a good fit for your needs then I’ll be honest about that too.

My promise to you:

I promise to give you my very best but I cannot promise you specific outcomes. What you do with what I share will depend on you, and where you’re at right now in your business and in your life. So, there are no refunds and no guarantees. Do save your receipt, though, as this is very likely a tax-deductible business expense for you.
